Engineering Technology

Engineering Technicians and Engineers work together to design, develop, construct, test, analyze and implement objects and processes that solve problems in the world. Engineering Technology students learn to concept sketch, 3D model, and generate computer-aided technical drawings. Students also experience the use of mechanics, fluid power, robotic automation, electricity, and material properties. Manufacturing processes for prototyping are practiced, including 3D printing and CNC machining. Real life experience is gained through Project Lead the Way program and design projects.
